Its like 1..2…3.. and that’s it! You can download any torrent file less than 5.0GB in simple steps. ImageShack offers its BitTorrent download service free of cost. The only limitations are that you can download only 2 torrents (maximum) at a time, you can not download on peak times, and you have to be careful about the account bandwidth (i.e. you can download data upto 10GB per month). My advise: make multiple accounts and enjoy more, else, go for their paid subscription service.

I will just go quickly through the easy steps, performing which you can download torrents at High Speed.

Step 1: Register an account at ImageShack

Step 2: Confirm account

After you register, check your email, and verify your account. Open ImageShack and click on Dowload Torrents to get access to Torrnet Drive.

Step 3:Upload torrent file, or give torrent url

You may upload the torrent file which you can get for your torrents from torrent sharing services like Demonoid, Mininova, etc. The torrent file is usually of a few Kbytes. You may also tell the service to get the torrent file from the sharing service automatically, instead of you uploading it to it.

Step 4: Start Torrent / Check Status

As soon as your torrent file is uploaded (will hardly take you a few seconds), if you have selected the Begin option while uploading the file then you will see the following sort of display, mentioning ACTIVE Starting up…

You may check live as your torrent downloads to the servers of ImageShack. One extra feature about this service is that it gives you screenshots of the movie (if a video file) while progressing.

You may also check the status of your file, by clicking on the status button against your file.

Step 5: Wait for Torrent to complete

Once your torrent/torrents completes, you will get a message STOPPED (100%) Download Succeeded.

Step 6: Download your torrent

Click on the DOWNLOAD button. You will get two choices. Either you may download the file directly, or if there is some restrictions of downloading *.avi, *.mpeg, *.wmv, etc., you may click on DOWNLOAD | ZIP option, to let the service automatically zip the file for you. Once done, download it to your PC.

The service is really fast, I get upto 2MB/sec sometimes.
