If it only took less than a minute to charge your smartphone, then no matter how much power-hungry the smartphone had been, you will get it back in no time.
StoreDot’s model is currently about the size of a laptop charger and can be sticked to the back side of your smartphone. However, if it can be reduced to that of a lightning cable, then this could be one Utopian feature that we would be waiting for.
Though this device which is capable of charging the phone to its maximum in just 30 seconds, has ideally been formulated for Samsung Galaxy S4, yet the company claims that it can also produce chargers for other kinds of phones.
Charge of the battery brigade
The new kind of battery that the device uses employs ‘nanodots’ which are primarily biological semiconductors that involve amino acids. Despite speeding up the charging time, there is a threat that the charge might not last as long as other dumber charging batteries does in phones. This is mainly because the size of the charger/battery combo is presently bigger as compared to the phone itself.
But this does not put StoreDot away as it promises to keep its devices on the shelves till late 2016 and priced at about $30.
