Twitter‘s profile redesign for its web version has now been made available to all. The social media website revealed this new design earlier this month, and has been trying to roll it out gradually for its users to test.
Happy with the feedback, the microblogging site said this Tuesday, that the upgraded design will be available to all in a few days. However, if someone cannot wait for it and wants to experience it right now, he can access it by clicking here.
The updated three-column design uses screen space and employs a new photo-centric design to which the Facebook and Google+ users are familiar with.
New features would also include ‘best tweets’ where the posts that received the most engagement will appear slightly larger. this would make it easy for others to find best content. Another notable feature is ‘Pinned tweet’ which allows you to pin your favorite tweets on top for visitors, as Twitter describes it, “see what you’re all about”. Furthermore, ‘Filtered tweets’ allows you to choose the timeline you want to see when visiting the profiles of other users.
The profile image is a little greater than before. You can also see the month and year of your joining, making your profile a bit stand out if you are an early user. The photos and videos section got a makeover too.
