US WEATHER: Flash flooding hit Pensacola, Florida on Tuesday night as more than 21 inches of rain fell in less than a day. Since April 29, heavy rain and lightning storms have struck along the Gulf Coast. More than 5 inches of rain fell in just 45 minutes in Pensacola, according to The National Weather Service. Residents saw cars set afloat by rising waters. Latest video shows a strong flood current flowing through a residential neighborhood in Pensacola in the early hours of April 30.
