(WASHINGTON) – On Wednesday, the visitors in Washington felt blessed when surprisingly they came across President Barack Obama, who decided to stroll in the United States’ capital city, and this was something very unusual.
The bear is loose! It’s good to be out. – Obama
The journalists who came with him, said that Obama was surrounded by several bodyguards, and so he took time to gossip with a Chinese and Israeli group of tourists during his limited walk.
At the Department of the Interior, Obama made a brief speech and announced that an area of New Mexico would be protected by federal government. After that, the president walked back to the White House.
He also shook hands with many other tourists who met him on his way, as well as with a man who was running a hot dog stand.
Moreover, the White House gifted a family which had two young kids, with M&M boxes which were full of candies, while a group of visitors was surprised when Obama exclaimed, “How’s it going guys?”
Just when he was beginning to inquire about homework from a student of a sixth grade school, he added, “We can shake hands. I won’t bite.”
