FuelBox has brought great innovation in the form of a powerful charging station, powerStation, which can charge multiple electronic devices at a single time. The company was founded three years back, in 2011, by Robert Herr and Dan Friedman, the two former graduates of Santa Barbara City College in the US state of California. It comes across as a newly established business that focuses on bringing innovations in the field of technology. Fuelbox specializes in producing universal and organized charging solutions for all types of mobile devices.
Friedman, the Chief Marketing Officer of FuelBox, said, “We aim to be the last charging solution you’ll ever need to buy. It’s great to finally get to this point where we can actually start selling. It’s very exciting.”
The company is currently running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for its product. The campaign started on May 31, with the goal of raising USD 50,000. As of now, it has raised USD 12,133 with 22 days still to go.
After some years of research and development, FuelBox has unveiled its first charging product that has been designed specifically for mobile devices. The company has tried to make sure that the users do not face the problem of power shortages when they need their handsets the most. Moreover, in the presence of this powerStation, the users won’t need to carry any sort of extra cables with them all the time.
The powerStation is extremely flexible, and is composed of a stationary docking base and a mobile battery pack. It has several universal chargers that allow the users to charge any device either at home or when they are away. The dock carries an extra USB port, a resting shelf, outlets protected for any surge, and magnets for fixing the boost pack. The eight LED lights in the boost pack indicate the level of battery. The users can charge the boost pack using any standard USB cable. Moreover, the powerStation will be available to the users in three different colors. It has built in charging cords that are completely compatible with Apple and Android devices.
The company plans to start its selling of the product in all the big stores by October. However, interested backers can always pre-order their powerStation on Indiegogo for just USD 79.
