(Hong Kong) – On Thursday, the world premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction took place in Hong Kong. Movie was shot both in the city and in mainland China. Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz were among the distinguished stars that walked up the red carpet.
The film is to be released first in Indonesia on June 25, 2014. While, in USA, it will be released on June 27, 2014. The production houses of the movie include Paramount Pictures, Hasbro and Di Bonaventura Pictures. It is an action, adventure and sci-fi movie. The original soundtrack, ‘Battle Cry’ of the movie was written and performed by Alex da Kid and Imagine Dragons.
The film’s budget is estimated to be around USD 165,000,000. It has been directed by Michael Bay, and written by Ehren Kruger. Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor are among the most prominent stars of the film. Furthermore, it is a 2 hours and 45 minutes long PG-13 movie. In the movie, an automobile mechanic together with his daughter discovers something that brings down the Autobots and Decepticons on them.
Initially, Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” was offered the role of Cade Yeager, however, he refused to accept the offer as he was busy in another role in the movie Hercules. Michael Bay, the director of the movie, said, that the sequel is the longest installment of the series so far.
