Eli Wallach, the legendary American television, film and stage actor died at the age of 98. His daughter Katherine confirmed the death of his father.
He was the star of “The Magnificent Seven” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly“. Although he played the leading role in these movies, yet he became famous for his role as a character actor in his career that lasted for more than six decades.
Even turning 90 did not slow down the career of Wallach, as he continued to act in movies like, “The Holiday” with Jack Black and Cameron Diaz, and “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps“. In this movie, Michael Douglas repeated his role as the greedy Gordon Gekko.
Wallach leaves behind Anne, his wife, and three children; Roberta, Katherine and Peter.
