On Sunday, at around 1:00 am (local time), officer R. Morales, an officer with the Police Department at Richmond, saved a female who was sitting on the railroad tracks of the town.
The officer immediately responded to a wireless call from the station and approached the site. Just when he was approaching the railway tracks, the warning lights and the bell of the railway crossing sounded indicating that a train is coming shortly. Without worrying about his own protection and safety, the officer hurried on towards the tracks, and successfully brought the lady off just in time. The officer then did not allow the lady to stand up and run towards the train again. Afterwards, the lady was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation.
According to Sgt. Neinast, “He got there just in time. Saved this woman’s life without regard for his own.”
