Microsoft Azure will be available in Open Licensing from 1st August, 2014. Azure is an open, flexible cloud platform that enables organizations to build, deploy and manage apps across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters. 57% of Fortune 500 companies already use Azure.
This is a great opportunity for Microsoft Partners to help their customers upgrade to the latest technology and take advantage of the Cloud with Azure. Just recently, Microsoft has increased the storage of OneDrive and Office 365 to help small businesses grow. Not to forget, the support for Windows Server 2003 will stop by the end of July 2015, therefore, partners are advised to join Ramp Up Virtual Event on 9th July this year to get the technical skills which they need to become a trusted adviser for their customers.
The upcoming Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) on 13th to 17th July, 2014 also aims to deliver more insights to the Microsoft’s vision of Azure and other products.
Finally, as support for Windows XP and Office 2003 has ended, Partners have a great opportunity to help customers upgrade their systems to protect their business from any potential risks.
