(MEDELLIN) – On Monday, Camilo Alvarez, a Colombian inaugurated Colombiamoda 2014 in Medellin by presenting one of his best collection, “Breakfast”, an art exhibition meant to celebrate the start of a new cycle.
A merging staging, music composition and space invoked matchless dawn were all part of the opening parade of the 25th edition of Colombiamoda.
The Breakfast, the moon and the sun were the three most prominent moments during the staging of transition, where the neutral and cold tones like blue and black melted in warm colors like white and pink.
To Alvarez, Colombia’s new fashion image is a new beginning which marks a new stage in his ten year long career as a designer. Just after the parade, he received a prolonged applause from more than two hundred thousand people who had gathered in the main gateway of the Colombiamoda fair.
