(LOS ANGELES) – Rihanna and Eminem set off their 3 city “Monster Tour” at the Rose Bowl in California, this week. Previously, another superhit duo, Jay Z and Beyoncé wrapped up their own “On the Run Tour” in US.
After the concert began on Thursday, Rihanna, dressed in a flame patterned outfit, had the stage on fire while singing “Numb”. But then, Eminem was welcomed with a loud cheer as he made his entrance using the Hannibal Lecter’s stretcher and the show continued for about three hours with the crowd shouting its lungs out.
They went on with a mash up, performing their hits including “Run This Town” and “No Love (Don’t Hurt Me)”. Some beautiful fireworks illuminated the stadium, when both the artists performed their theme chart-buster, “The Monster”.
Moreover, 90,000 attendees of the stadium witnessed some of the best solo performances from RiRi and Em. The night for Rihanna began with “What Now”. She, on occasions, changed her wardrobe and sang her hits including “Umbrella”, “Birthday Cake”, “Pour It Up” and “Man Down”.
Also, Eminem launched into his fans favorites including “The Way I Am”, “Square Dance”, and “Rap God”. He came back with their popular duets, “Stay” and “Love the Way You Lie”. At last, Rihanna concluded with “We Found Love” & “Diamonds” and Eminem had the crowd singing his anthem, “Lose Yourself”.
On Friday, the tour played in Rose Bowl again. The tour is further scheduled on August 16 &17 in the MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford in New Jersey, and on August 22 & 23 in the Comerica Park of Detroit.
